The client had a unique background story for his army.
The Imperial Knights have been invaded and taken over by a Tyranid Hive Mind.
What a great concept and with my love of the Alien movie franchise. I couldn’t resist the challenge.
The Tyranid was created by kitbashing bits from a couple different sets. The bulk of the creature is from the Psychophage model with some extra bits from the Norn Emissary set. The rest was sculpted.
Model was painted with Acrylics and Oils and was a blast to paint.
Definitely one to add to my favorite painted models list.
