From Toothpick to Brush: A Lifelong Journey
My journey began in 1988 as a teenager with more enthusiasm than equipment. Armed with a toothpick and Testors paints, I tackled my first miniature. The technique has evolved quite a bit since then, but that fundamental love of transforming plastic and metal into something vivid and alive? That’s never changed.

Finding My Way
In those early days, I learned everything I could from painting magazines, studying techniques and color schemes on glossy pages. Eventually, I found my way to the local miniature store, where I discovered a whole community of painters and gamers who shared the same passion.
From Hobbyist to Professional
What started as a hobby eventually became something more. When gaming businesses and fellow gamers began asking me to paint their miniatures those small side gigs gradually grew. Before long, I was spending every spare moment at the painting table, taking on more and more commissions. With the support of my family, the decision finally became clear: this wasn’t just a passion anymore, it was my calling. I left my full-time job to focus entirely on what I loved, and I haven’t looked back since.
